HOLA y UN BUENAS DÍAS, 

So the good part is yesterday they told us that we dont have changes which Im very happy about I love my area the members are so amazing and my comp she is amazing to super sweet and we are going to echar fuego en nuetra area! 

This week its just been a rainny rainy week amost every day its been raining sounds like its the same in Utah! Rain is great but somtimes its interesting has a missionary the funny part here when it rains no one wants to go out side for nothing and sometimes they dont want to recieve us missionaries ether but there are the good parts to there are the blessings in the rain for example this last week we found a great family a Hno and Hna and thier little baby they seem super great and are really excepting we hope to help them progress to be married and then baptised!"! They hard part is they have a cute baby but he has been sick and hasnt been able to go outside cuz of the rain so this family wasnt able to come to church but we hope to help them come this next week. This week we have been working a lot with the members and Recent members they have been super helpful. In this ward there is alot of new member families its really cool to see the class after Sacrament meeting where all the new bees are and see all the couples sitting together. We got to teach one of this families that are recieving leccions to go to the temple to be sealed but we taught them about the Resteracion again and made them teach us to change roles to help others share with their familes and friends it  was a great leccion and fun to see the whole family get involved. We are also teaching alot of English which has been fun cuz the members give us ref!!

Cool thing about Gaute that I love is they give alot of Atols its like hot drinks of rice with chocolate milk also de Platanos or of oatemil I love all of them but sometime its funny when we are going leccion a leccion and when its raining the members or our invest give us Atoles but we get so full one night we drank like 4 cups and each with a roll or somthing with it we where so full but its great the love here in this area!

Everyday there is the Miricals Somtimes things dont go how I want or my comp but we see the good things like seeing a Hna That is a new member giving her talk in sacrament meeting for the first time or finding two new invest this week that accepted us to teach them! I know that we need to keep working and we will see the fruits but we just got to keep working. I think of the womens conference where Elder Uckdorf talks about this hna and the picture of the Pioneer girl that we need to look for the colors and the good stuff to stay happy.

I was sad to hear about Elder Richard G Scott but how great it is to think about that he is with his wife I loved the talk he gave once where he talks alot about his wife. How great the conference will be lets see who is going to be the new Apostoles!!

Hola familia y amigos,

So I am already really enjoying this whole, have a companion more than just one transfer thing! For once we were able to keep working through the changes without the unevitable hiccups of having to adjust to a new companion or new sector. There was no hectic packing at ten thirty at night, no awkward first week trying to get to know your companion and teaching them about the sector or trying to get to know your new setor etc. It's so great! And this week has been stressful but so incredible! We have been teaching this adorable girl named Yaritza who was not coming to church and this week we were able to see her go to the temple and take out her endowments! She talked about her experience going to the temple for the first time and it really made me miss the temple and made me so happy for her. We also had the opportunity to teach our family of investigators that are so amazing and prepared and it was cool to see that they had questions about why there are so many churches and that there should only be one for everyone and we were so happy to be able to tell them that we have the answers! My companion and I have grown so close it's incredible I seriously feel like she is my sister! We say that we were best friends in heaven and we begged Heavenly Father to let us be sisters here on the earth and he must have told us that he has other plans for us but he would make sure and provide the way we could meet here on earth! I love her so much!

I can't believe how fast the time flies! I'm just trying to do the best I can and take advantage of every day!

HOLA!!!

Its another pretty Pday!! How fast goes the week when your having fun in the mission!!

Soo the High Light of this week was that we got to see the baptism of one Hno Douglas. So when we came into this area we got to know Hno and his family the first day we found out after that when the other sisters left this family was feeling that maybe they didnt want to recive more Hnas cuz they didnt like saying good bye. But thank fulling they like us and let us into their house.

This family has been a work in progress but in a good way the first missionaries they recieved where elders and they where marrige with these elders in 2 years ago then the Hna Alejandra was baptised and just now Hno Douglas. I know that this was from the work of lots of missionaries not just us. They are a family amazing they both have strong testiomonies and they both have changed so much for the better. The baptism went great the Hno was super nervus cuz he had planned that the bishop was going to baptise him but after he was worried cuz the bishop is kinda short and the hno is super tall but thankfuling everything went great we got to hear the testimony of the Hna Alejandra and it was so amazing we felt the spirit so strong. 

Some funny High lights of this week we where teaching this one invest she has 3 dogs and 2 boys in this littly house noramaly when we enter the dogs are super yappy but after a minute they are a little more tranquilo so we started the lession with a hym but in this time one of these dogs decided that he liked me lots he wanted to jump all over me and give me kisses right in the middle of Im a Child of God but we where able to endur with the hna and her belt with the dog in hands and we where able to have a great lesson!

Yesterday we also got to vist this one member and found that she had a pet parriot green and very pretty it was fun wistling to him and having him answer made me think of the birds we used to have but the funny part was this bird like to laugh at me just me my comp he loved my when i tried to pet him he tryed to peck me and then started laughing! 

It has been a good week we hope to work harder to help more come to chirst Im so grateful to be here in this area to get to know so many great people and to have some great experinces!!

Hola fam. y friends!

So as some of you may have heard Chile felt a little earthquake this week. Well here in Chile earthquakes are so common that they have two different names to describe earthquakes so that every one knows just what kind of earthquake we're talking about here. Temblor: is a little earthquake that one feels like a vibration no mas but passes in like ten seconds. Terramoto: The kinds of earthquakes that make the ground underneath you pitch and jump and topples buildings and causes tsunamis and all that fun stuff. This week we had the latter, a Terramoto. The good thing is that the strength and damage of terramotos depends on how close you are to the center of the thing and luckily we were far enough away that we're all ok. Actually my companion and I were in a lesson and when we got out the weather was all weird, it was dry, started raining for like two seconds and then stopped, and we had to hurry to the church to teach piano lessons and so we took a colectivo. While we were driving all of a sudden we felt kind of dizzy and we just thought that the driver was driving really crazy no mas, then we saw the light cables start sparking and all the stop lights turned off and the guy driving said lightning had struck but I was like no I don't think so, and I saw the trees waving back and forth but I thought it was just the wind, (all the while I'm trying to contact and share a bit of the gospel with the guy driving so I was not paying the most attention) and then al final the car started going up and down and I remember thinking "I don't remember there being speed bumps there" We made it to the church and everyone freaked out asking us if we had felt the terramoto and we even ran into our Pres. de Mission and he was pretty calm but definitely had a busy look about him and was out of there pretty quick to go start the phone chain to make sure all of us missioneros were fine. I am definitely counting my blessings here that we were not closer to where the terramoto hit, the people up north had their houses fall and were hit with a tsunami, the only inconvenience we're suffering is we feel temblores several times a day and night. Today while we were eating the table started moving a bunch and we watched thick wood beams start to tremble and almost dived under the table but then it faded. 

On a lighter note we celebrated the independence day here in Chile, Chilean style with a lot of food, mostly meat. I was trying to remember how it is in the states and I realized that during our BBQs we usually play games our hang out in the yard while the meat cooks. Here they don't have a lot of yard space so to pass the time they eat. They make empanadas big enough to fill me up as an appetizer, then they through sishkabobs on the grill first and we eat those next, then we eat chutipan (a hot dog with sausage instead of hotdog) and then and only then after I've eaten enough to fill me up for a week, does the meal start. There was also a lot of cueca dancing and we dressed up as Huasos again with the cool dresses.

The best news of all is that we had cambios this saturday again and for the first time in over a year I get to have a companion for more than one change!! The both of us are going to stay here in Buin and work super hard!!! I'M SOO EXCITED!!! AAAAAHHH Hna. Giurleo's awesome and I'm so happy to work with her still.

GOOD MORNING!!!

So it seems like the weeks are going by sooo fast! But the mission keeps getting betting and better this last monday we went back to our area after writing to find that some of the hnas that have been in our area before came back to visit sooo there we where 6 hnas in the little house of this one hna astrid and with her family it was a lot of people in a little space crazy but lots of fun I had boughten brownie mix the last monday cuz the hna has a oven sooo we all made browies with ice cream which it was soo good but crazy with lots of hnas sugar! soo if you see pic on face thats what happend. 

We also got to have a great conferencia of multi zone where we learned lot about the atonement. I think I already talked that this month we are learning about the atonement from the Book Of Mormen It has been amazing to learn about it from the bom and also this conference its always so amazing to hear our Pres Caffaro talk and teach us I know that god calls leaders to do his work. 

Here lots of persons believe in Jesus Christ but they only thing that he died for us on the cross but Im am learning its soooo much more that. I love in Alma 7 talks alot about the atonement how it wasnt just sins that he suffered for us it is also sickness, when we are sad, or other pains we feel in this life. We where invited to really feel what the Atonement is and to really live it everyday. To be able to teach it to others we need to learn of it and live it. Its so amazing learning from the scriptures everyday I am learning more and more how it helps us in our lives when we feel down there are scriptures to help us when we are mad there are scriptures I still have lots to learn about the scriptures but I am glad to keep learning.

Soo about the work this week we hope to have the Baptism of one hno that we have been working with named Douglas he has seen alot of missionaries but is finaily ready to get wet!! We where also able to find this one hna that we had put a fecha with but she didnt come to church but we where able to find her again!! Its somtimes amazing to hear and see investigators change like prays Before my mission I didnt know there where other ways to pray in my utah bubble!! but here there are some crazy different ways to pray its amazing to see people understand how its important to start with Our Heavenly Father and pray to him and end in the name of Jesus Christ!! And if they dont pray like that they wont get the right answers. This hna we gave her the outline to pray and she said she had always prayed but this was more organised and direct that it was almost the same just needed to know how to start and end.

In this time of year somtimes there is lots of rain here in Guate somtimes it rains super hard that you have to wait it out or end up looking like you just got out of the shower but our pres says that we need to get wet so others can get wet in the fount! but funny story yesterday we had the conference of the Estaca so me and my comp where a little more dressed up then normal but after the conference we where visiting working like normal but it was raining super hard we waiting for a little in a house of a invest but when the rain let up we got ready to leave my comp went out of the house first I was saying good bye to the hna and the hna said oh look the girl fell and I looked to see my cute comp and sliped in the mud and was all muddy in her cute dress it was kinda funny but poor thing we had to wash her off with water the hna gave us but after this we where able to find a MA hna and a new invest im sure it was god giving my comp a blessing from falling in the mud!

Hola familia y amigos!!

This week has been awesome!! We went to the zoo today in Buin and it was soo cool! It was the perfect day to go to the zoo because it wasn't too hot wasn't too cold, there wasn't a lot of people because school's still going on and we had enough time to see everything that we wanted too! I splurged a bit and bought some recuerdos, souvenirs stuff for you guys :P It was soo much fun! This week in the beginning was good too because we got to do another cosechon or harvest in another sector and pass a good couple of hours contacting no mas which always gives us an extra boost to work in our own sector. We started to pray and really think about putting 4 fechas in our sector. I don't know why we said 4 but the number seemed good to us, then we went to go and see a future investigator of ours and when we got there they recieved us with open arms and wouldn't you know it but there are four of them, dad mom and two kids, and the youngest is eight years old! We taught a lot about the family and everything that they said just made us think that they could be members already  because they are seriously so prepared!! Carolina, the mom said she believes in the things you can't see but are real, they said that they believe kids should be born in a matrimonio, etc. ! As we were teaching I started to bear my testimony that there was a reason we had knocked there door and the spirit was so strong that I started to get emotional and then when we started testifying about how the gospel could bless their family they also started getting emotional and when it came time to extend the baptismal invitacion they said yes right away!!! I wanted to pinch myself because that never happens!! It was one of the best moments of my whole mission!! They are the cutest, most prepared family Ive ever met I can't wait to see them get baptized! We are also working with a woman named Paulina who's so cute because she wants to get baptized so bad but she has to get divorced and marry the guy she's living with or stop living with him and she doesn't understand why but we're working with her! This week for September 11 we had to enter the house a bit earlier than normal because it's like a national protesting day in Chile but we took advantage of the time to make delicious brownies and had a lot of fun eating them and then goofing around a lot because we have a lot of energy that we're used to using walking around all the place so we go a little bit crazy when we have to stay indoors. This sunday was super cool, I always love fast sundays but it was even cooler because some people from my old sector in Rengo came to visit me! A member that was always super nice and great and my old investigator and his pareja! I turned the corner and when I saw them there I had a moment where I was like what? am I in rengo again?

Putting the fechas with the family we met this week makes me so grateful again that I'm in the mission and I get to be doing what I'm doing.

Hola!!!!

Buenas Tardes!! Somtimes I feel like the time is going by so fast here in the mission. This week we where able to see the ups and the downs. This area is so amazing there are some amazing members here you grow to love them all like your own family. We all know that not everything in life is perfect even for those who are members! We had one day where it seemed everyone was having problems with one thing or another and they where all telling us missionaries. Somtimes its kinda hard we are here has missionaries to help others to serve but sometimes we dont know everything cuz we are still young we dont know what it is like to have problems in a marriage or to not to have money to give to your family or have kids for that matter. This is why we need so much the lord sometimes we cant give the advice on what to do but we can help with the help of the lord give love give guidence to look to the lord for the hard questions and to keep moving on. I know I had moments of I dont know what to say you feel so much love for these hno hnas that you just want to make all the bad stuff go away but its part of life we learn to learn from these experinces and with the lord helping us on know what to say we can help. I know its so important to use the scriptures there are lots of help in them and reasurence! I also am learning how much the mission is somthing that helps us prepare for life I am learning how important it is to get married and start out the family right its somtimes so hard to see some of these women who want to get baptised but are living with their boyfirends or partners and these guys dont want to get married I dont know why but no one wants to get married but sometimes its cuz they dont want to comint but its hard to see these hnas cuz they dont want to separte cuz that means they have to find work and provide for the kids! Thats why you got to start out right it may not always be perfect but there are more security and more blessings!

Its been great to see the miricals this week my poor comp sometimes she gets so stressed when things dont go has planned but its kinda part of the mission that not everything go as planned but this week we where able to find 2 invest that the other hna missionaires where working with. We have been looking for them these last two weeks and we finaly found one hna that wants to get baptised but we have to work with the husband to get married but we hope to start teaching him to. The other is a young girl that has a fecha for baptism that we finaly found saturday and she still wants to get baptised and she came to CHURCH this las sunday and brought her friend. It was kinda a suprise for us cuz we passed by her house but she wasnt there but there we where in sacrament and she came walking in with her friend and they both want to keep hearing our messages yay!! Sometimes contacting is fun but we got to do it but the great part is when people say yes but sometimes we cant find the houses after but this last week I say a Girl with a cute back pack so I asked her where she got it and invited her to hear our message and she excepted us the next day and she is super piles she is 21 years old and she wants to learn what is the true church she already is praying so we invited her to pray to know what we where saying is true! And she excepted and wants to be baptised yay!

I know there are some ups and downs that we have days where things fall thourgh but why stress it we are in the true gospel we and the trueth so why be sad we got to be happy to share with everyone. I am so grateful for the milagros we see and I know we got to have faith to keep seeing them! I love you all so much hope all is well in Utah and Chile

HOla Fam. y Friends!!

This has been an amazing week! Seriously though every week just makes me love the mission more and more!! We were out conacting one day and there was this little old lady out in front of her house and they tell you that when you meet people you should imagine them in the white clothes of baptism to help you teach them with the end in mind, it's always a bit harder to imagine a hunched over little grandma in a baptismal font but then I remembered that Nicia had a convert that was a little bit up there so I thought why not and we went and started talking to her. Her daughter came out and turns out she's a member! That happens a lot here, we contact a lot of people who end up telling us they're members and just haven't gone in forever. We taught a lesson to the two of them and the daughter showed us a really old book of mormon that she's had forever but she wanted a new one like the ones we have so we gave her the extra that we always carry around and she in turn gave us the old book of mormon! It was funny and cute, the BoM stayed with me because my companion didn't want it so now I have a really cool old Book of Mormon :P We have hope that we can convert the mom even though she's in her 90s. Its never too late! So everyonce and awhile we run into missionaries or liders of other religions in the street and at first it was awkward but we always smile and say hi to them real friendlylike and now it's just entertaining. We were talking to an investigator of ours who wants to get baptized but her husband wont let her in the street and her pastor drives by and his jaw dropped and his head wipped around and we almost caused a car crash with are brilliant light of christness :P This whole week we just saw a lot of little miracles, like being able to teach a menos activa that at first didn't want anything to do with us, running into our investigators in the street and hearing that they have been completing with their assignments, having amazing contacts in the street where the people are actually receptive and want us to come back and keep talking to them, ETC! I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!! Every time we meet another person we say to ourselves, That person is gonna get baptized one day, we just planted a seed. We never know if we'll be there to watch that seed grow and see them get baptized but we know that if we keep working, keep pushing, even when it's hard one day we'll be able to see teh fruits of our labors. 

We had our Conference with Pres. Warne on Thursday and they talked to us a lot about goals, how you can't get hardly anything done with out putting goals first and then really working with them. It was really great and really motivating and we left super pumped to work really hard and put fechas and what not! Then all of our appointments fell through. It's alright though because we kept going even when no one was home or wanted to recieve us and we found a Menos Activa that really needed our help and we were able to prestar un poco de servicio and help her out. 

So the coolest thing that happened this week is we got to watch the movie Ephraims Rescue. A little while bakc we had a family history activity and I pulled out the stories that grandpa earl gave me about some of my ancestors that were on the Martin and Willie Handcart companies. I read the story of Elizabeth Bradshaw and was really struck by it. She was all alone with 5 or 6 kids crossing the plains and her brothers even tried to convince her not to go and offered to give her all the wealth in the world if she didn't but she left anyways and at one point as she was crossing a deep river she had her son on her shoulders and she began to sink. The people on the other side of the bank yelled that she would have to let her son go or they would both drown but she fought on and when she made it to the other side she raised her right arm and testified that a miracle had come to pass and it was because of the Lord that she and her son had been saved. Later as we were watching Ephraims Rescue in the house I realized that that story was included in the movie. Watching the scene thinking of my something great grandma I suddenly felt this huge wave of the spirit, I started sobbing like a baby, and I realized that that is a big part of why I'm here and why I keep going. Elizabeth Bradshaw accepted the gospel and started the chain that ended up to me being born in the gospel. Everytime I help someone accept the gospel I'm starting another chain that will bless who knows how many people. I think of how strong Elizabeth and the other members of the handcart companies were and it gives me more determination to keep going, to stay absolutely faithful to the church because if I let the chain break, if I don't keep working in Zion, all that they did, all the trials that they went through to get to Salt Lake City  will be for naught. It gives a whole new meanign to the talk by Henry B. Eyring that says we have to be a strong link in the Chain. 

We had Stake conference this week too and the theme was about families, there were a lot of great talks and a couple of points really stood out to me. Our pres. de mision gave a talk about the three things you need to do to have a strong family and they are 1 pray 2 read the scriptures  and 3 have family home evening. He said that these have been the fundamentals for hundreds of years and they aren't going to change because we still haven't gotten them down. He also said that we don't have to be like the pictures in Ensign where the famliy is all perfectly paying attention, the house is spotless, etc. Just do what we can when we can. Another speaker said something that really impacted me, he said that in these troubling times the family isn't failing, we are failing the family. We are not doing enough to strengthen the family etc. A bit harsh but the guy's got a point.

I love this work, I love being in the mission, I hope all of you are having misisonary opportunities! It really is the most important work we can do and it is the most rewarding as well.

HOLA!!!

So this week we almost got to see Elder Neilson in person but since there has been Elections and its been a little crazy here in Guate he couldnt come but we got to see him for Internet where he was speaking in El Salvado but he gave us in Guate a shout out!! It was an amazing conferece to hear the words of Elder Oacho, Elder Alonso and the Presidents of the missions in El Salvador there where some amazing messages. Elder Neilson talked about some topics we need to study more cuz he talked about how yes we need to know more doctrine but sometimes we need to focus on certin topics one was the Atonment of Jesus christ he had us look each topic up in our topical guide where we can learn more about what they mean and where we can look in the scriptures. Elder Neilson was amazing he is like a grandpa likes to joke and tease but also tells us what we need to do better! 

Its kinda funny somtimes when we learn something we get to put it into practice after like one President talked about how maybe in the mission we will hear a 100 no´s but the good thing is that we are inviting and that we will hear the yes´s. We had a good week but at the end of the week seemed to get a little hard there are alot of Partys for elecions in our area and has made it alittle harder to work. Two days that where pretty tuff cuz most everyone was gone or didnt want to listen to us. My cute comp is amazing I am learning so much about faith with her but somtimes we have to work together to keep our faith up and animo! But you always gotta look at the good stuff Saturday we had a great lesson with a Hna We found last week we can only visit with her saturdays and this last lecion we talked to her and she had read almost all the Folleto and she said she felt it was true!! Yay!! We also got to talk to her about the Plan of Salvacion cuz she just had a grandma that died we felt the spirt very strong with her!

A amazing part of the mission is you get to get to know more people and hear their stories I love them they help me have more faith and be more dedicated to find those who are ready! We meet one family that is RC who we can only vist sundays cuz they sell bread but it was cool to hear their story how it took time but now they are preparing to go to the temple has a family and be selled. Here Sundays are the best day to sell things but this family shows they faith but not opening their store to sell bread but work really hard all though out the week its amazing to see some of these members who are super dedicated becaus they know that this gospel is true and not just cuz some greengos wanted to baptise them!

Its been fun getting to know our area little by little we found another part of our area that you have to go down a big hill to find and its lots of fun to go back up!!!! This last week we went looking for one RC in this part with one member and we ended up getting caught in the rain but the hard part this part of our are didnt have very good roads we where running through the rain looking for this member we finaling found the house but didnt find the member but it was a great memory we have some fotos that the hna took this hna is amazing willing to walk with us missionaries in the rain and sun to help the work!!

I know that we recieve our faith though our tests I hope to work harder in this area to strengthen my faith to work with my comp to be the best we can be DONT QUITE but to DO IT I know I want to give my all to the lord the ward and members here are amazing we just gota to find those people and hope that they will say yes!!! 

I know the church is true that we see the miglagros everyday 

Like this last week we had divisions I was working in my are with my hna Leader we contacted this door first the husband came out then the wife the husband was kinda like ya i want to hear but the wife didnt at all cuz they had recieved the Elders before and they didnt want to be baptised but we kept talking to them baring our testimonies gave them a folleto and they started asking questions about Joseph smith and then we talked about the family and offered to come by with a Proclamation of the Family folleto the next time and they agreeed it was amazing turn around!!

So this is a crazy week I'm writing about, so I mentioned a couple weeks back that we had alarm systems put on our houses, well as I'm writing we get a call from the Assistants and President and other Elders saying that our alarm is sounding in our house RIGHT NOW. So if this email seems a bit distracted that would be why. The funny thing is that the thing that is of the most valor for me is my camera and scriptures so I hope that that wont be stolen or anything when we sort out what's going on. I'll let you guys know what happened next week :P Good news is that we weren't in the house right!

We got to go on divisions this week which is always fun and really great for the work because we always see miracles during divisions which proved to be true. and the cool thing is that we did divisions with the hnas. in our same house so I didn't have to pack a bag or anything and we get to here how their day went at night when we all get home so Wednesday night my companion and the other Hna. get back freaking out about a contact they had. Actually they were following up on a different contact that we did named Maria Jose and when they knocked on the door her boyfriend Camilo came out and after seeing their name tags said, "You're the ones I've been waiting for, you'e the ones who can help me" he said he'd been really struggling with drugs and other problems and he wanted to get out of all of that and that's just when they arrived. The next day they went back and gave him a book that the church wrote about getting over addictions and taught him and Maria Jose an awesome lesson and he gave the last prayer!! Then after divisions yo y mi compañera were walking in the street and we found them and he had the book in his hands, studying it in all of his free time and asked us questions about the scriptures in the LdM that the book uses and it was perfect because we had just passed their house looking for them to give them books of mormon to read too!! I can't describe the feeling we get when we have experiences like that. There really aren't words good enough to describe the happiness to see someone take the gospel with such hunger and desire to know more and see the differences. Or sometimes we talk to people and just get impressions that they are going to be baptized, or that we have met them before at some point. That's what happened on my divisions with Hna. Wainwright, we were contacting and happened upon a house and when a couple came out they seriously looked sooo familiar I know that I've met them before somewhere. We started to talk to them and then she pulls out this book of mormon that she recieved EIGHT years ago and starts talking about how she didn't feel ready to be baptized then but now feels like she might be more prepared now and asked if we could explain more of our message to her and Hna. WW and I started pinching ourselves to see if it was a dream or not.

It was perfect too because we had just had a really long hard day where we had to go to Rancagua but then when we were trying to get back we found out that there was a huge truck driver strike, they had blocked the freeway with their trucks, so there were no buses out of Rancagua so we had to jump in a car with the Elders and run over to the train station and tuck and roll and run to catch a moving train to get back here to Buin. It was a pretty funny sight I'm sure as two missionaries run after this jam packed train that's starting to move and my stinking flats didn't have any grip so I was just thinking "Don't fall, dont fall dont fall" and some chileans had to practically pull us into the train but we made it! And then of course we contacted all the people around us :P

So I really take to heart what the scripture says that "Every soul has worth in the eyes of God" Because last week I helped out a lost pitbull and this week we had a Noche de Hogar fall through but we saw a kitten stuck in a tree so I may or may not have climbed on top of a car to help the poor guy down. I couldn't just leave him there! My companion couldn't believe it but then later said that we were sent there to help that little kitten and only someone as crazy as Hna. Boully would have done it. 

My poor companion she wants to work so badly but keeps having bad luck, she was sick this week and then when she got better she was so excited to work she jumped up onto a curb and twisted her ankle which turned all swollen and purple and it was such a bummer moment but it was sooo funny al final because this adorable little argentinian looked up at the sky and screamed and yelled "I hate you Satan!! Stop bugging me!" and then realized she was screaming in the wrong direccion and yelled the same thing at the ground. The mission is so crazy but I love it so much!! We were just talking today that it's really hard to describe a lot of the things that go on in the mission or feelings that we have because there literally aren't any words good enough!! I hope I atleast give you guys an idea.

Hola Family 

Sooo Im here in my new area of Santa Catarina Pinula 2 with my new companion Hna Aguiñada. In the Zona of Guatemala Im in the propio captial!! The templo is in my district which is different always in my mission I have been kinda far and always waiting for trips to the temple but now I see the Temple every week!! "I love to see the Temple" And in the zone my comp and I are the only normal missionarys we have the APs in our zona Secretarios Hna leaders and we are sharing the area with the ZL its a little more Presure but we can do it! The funny part is only my first area is where I entered into the mission and my comp knew the area but all my other areas have been re opened meaning they took both the last missionaries out and put two new ones in. Somtimes its good soo that there are new eyes to see the area but its always a little hard to get started. The amazing part is when we came to our area the hnas had made plans for a hna of the ward to lead us around to teach us some of the miembros and invest of the hnas it was soooo amazing to have help. This ward is amazing with the missionary work they are here ready to help us almost all this week we had hnas ready to go out with us and some that dont even have a year of being members and another who has two kids one 2 years old and the other had mounths but she loaded them up in a stroller and when visiting with us yes they are that piles!!! 

My comp is amazing she is from El Salvador she is super sweet kinda quiet but I feel like she is soo much like me that somtimes I gotta work to get her to open up more but I love how she works she is still liked new to the mission so she has this great energy!!! 

We have been working hard this week trying to get to know our area it has been a little hard cuz its lots of fun getting to know the directions I am not used to have to look for the number of streets and houses. I have been used to the direcions of in this part the red house with the tree in front and there is a bad dog that is always outside that is our house! 

But we have also been able to see the milagros we found a sister that the other Hnas had contacted we taught one leccion with her sang un song of how great thou art and where able to place a date for baptism in the same leccion yay!!!! 

We also are getting to know this other family that the Hna had just been bautised the last week we found out that they have recieved lots of Hnas before and the hno in this time didnt like the presure to be baptised but when we came and started talking about baptism he asked when where the dates that he could be baptised it was a moment of really your asking us!! How amazing was this leccion!! So we were able to see the milagros of this week but we hope to work harder to get to know more of our area one thing I know is our ward is amazing for the members. A hna brought us sandwhiches in church then after we found out that the miembros give us lunch every sunday how amazing cuz we get foood which is always nice and also we get to know more of the members which is nice to be closer to the members!!

Its been a little hard ajusting to different areas cuz its a little different how you work in and outside the capital. We have had some days this last week that we felt a little frustrated with finding directions or when people dont want to listen oooo that was a shocker for me people are a little bit more meaner here in side the cap when contacting but we are here to work and there are always the ups. We had one day that we only had one leccion and it was almost 6 in the night and we had put a goal to find at least two new invest we went out looking for three invest that we had put visits with but there wherent there I told my comp lets knock lease doors but first asked her if she had faith cuz she was feeling frustrated but we where able to find two leccions in this part and a new invest!!! 

I hope to work harder in this area cuz I know there are some amazing people waiting for the goseple we are both working to be more obident and Flechon!! Im happy to be with my comp I know I will learn alot!! I love you all I hope you have a good week!

HOla Familia y amigos!

So in the mission it's pretty much inevitable that your going to have crazy weeks but this one might take the cake. Oh and so you know the internet cafe where I'm writing right now is playing Avengers 2 (en english) on a huge flat screen tv above my computer screen so I'm really really suffering right now. Monday we were going to have a normal day but then the assistants called us and said that Hna. Giurleo needed to go to Santiago because she didn't vote in Argentina and apparently that's llike a serious crime there so sshe would have to show why she didn't do it so we left for Rancagua to sleep there Monday night so she could head to Santiago tuesday morning. We got to Rancagua with a little bit of time left in our day and so since we didn't know the sector we grabbed like twenty pamphlets and went to contact la Plaza de los Heroes, which is like the biggest, most famous plaza in Rancagua. IN the plaza there's a huge statue so we used that to our advantage and asked everyone we came across to explain us the story of the statue. We didn't have a lot of success but we met a cool guy Luis who took a folleto and said he would think about coming to church, the only down side is that he had a beer can in his hand and was a bit tipsy as we talked to him so if he doesn't remember what we said at least he has the folleto and maybe he'll read it. I got to see my old companion hna. Aizama and then while every single Argentinian in the mission went to Santiago I got to go on divisions to my old sector Graneros. It was soo cool to see all of the progress some of the people I taught have made! There was a menos activo that we taught who was a big jerk and he always said he would never come to church but now he is the ward mission leader!! When they told me I freaked out! I also got to see an old investigator who has progressed a bunch!! it's soo cool! Funny story though, the assistents brought every single argentinian misionary to Santiago to take care of this whole voting thing only to get there and have the lady tell them that it's a problem they could have taken care of por internet :P So in this ward we have English classes and also piano classes that we teach and this week no one came so as we were waiting I took advantage of the fact that no one had come yet and had Hna. Wainwright (who usually gives the class) teach me a few notes and scales. Then afterwards we were all super hungry so we "contacted" a guy selling french fries :P we really did leave him with a folleto but left happy with a big box of fries for each of us. We were all pretty happy that night but waking up the next morning was not the most pleasant experience. My companion woke up sick to the stomach and my stomach was also not too happy so we ended up having to stay in the house for the greater part of the day. The really cool thing though is that I took the time to play around a little bit with a keyboard we have in the house and I discovered that I kind of have a nack for the piano!! I had just never tried it, never asked to be taught, and had always thought that I was bad at music but who knew that in the mission I would start learning how to play piano!! Another thing I never thought I would do in the mission is tackle a pit bull but yeah that happened this week too. We were leaving an Hermanas house and her dog's chain came lose and he ran off and she was super worried because she said that the dog usually doesn't come back so we went looking and found him in a passage and I called him and he came close but didn't have a collar on so I had to like jump on top of him, hold him and then carry the lug like three blocks to this ladies house. My companion has a picture of it it was pretty fun. Atleast the hna. Was really grateful. 

The rest of the week we saw a lot of miracles, families came to church that haven't come in forever, we had an amazing lesson with an investigator that also came to church and when the members asked her if she was a member she said not yet but that she wants to be a member so all in all, craziness and everything it was a really good week. 

I'm serious every day in the mission is better, I just love what I get to do every day and I hope to make the most of every minute!!
