New Email

Sister N. Boully wrote today!  I'm not sure when her P-day is, but we received this email today.  There were other emails with pictures, but I can't get them to download.  I'll keep working on it. MTC Mailing address is in the post for her contact info.

Hello family and friends!!
Where to start its been sooo crazy and amazing! After i left you all in Utah i ended up with 6 elders and 4 hermanias I was so happy to have other people to travel with so there was less chance of being lost! It wasnt til i got off the plan in Guatemala that i was like oh ya I need to learn a new laungage cuz the guys who came to pick us up only spoke spanish and guess what all the other sisters knew lots of spanish! it is very humbleing to not understand what people are saying around you! so first day in the mtc or ccm thankfully they let us have naps the fist day but it was still very overwellcoming the first day felt like it went on for ever and right off the bat everyone is speaking spanish and we are learning lots to take in. It was also weird to start going by hermana and to get the name tag made it very officail i still cant belive i am out here and its been a close to a week time goes by weird here the days are weeks and the weeks are days. The sisters in my room have been here for 2 weeks and they are the best and are very encouraging everyone. So in my district i am the only hermana cuz with all the other new nortie or north american elders because all the other sisters that came with me all have spanish down. so i have two elders i teach with and all the sisters are my conpainons like the sisters that room with me and the other sisters 3 nortie sisters that are in my zone but sometimes its a little lonly cuz the sisters in my room have different schedules then me but its nice getting ready on my own with the whole room to my self. Oh ya did i mention there is no extra time in the ccm its busy busy going going to classes planing lessions teaching investagotors and of course they have you starting off your very first day. It is somtimes frustrating to be teaching and wanting to speak but not knowing how to say it! its like mission prep doubled trying to learn how to teach while learning how to teach, but it will come and i am slowly getting better and remembering more and more words every day. Sunday here was soo amazing it cuz most of it was in english you have no idea how good it sounded and felt to get and give a lesson in english it was like this is cake!! Our mission president is soo amazing he is soo encouraging happy excited and very motivated about baptising first day he aske what is your misson its a baptiesing misson. \him and his wife gave great devotionals making you want to get out there and get working and makes you feel like nothing can stop you and he always is talking about not stressing he is amazing and his wife is also so encouraging first day she came up conforing me that it was just my first day and the laungage will come and that has been my encouragement that with time spanish will come i will just work hard and be open to the spirit. The mtc is very busy but it is also soo amazing to be in a place where you are praying and singing and working to be missoinaries there are so many amazing sisters and brothers here and i am soo thankful for some of these latnenia sisters who know some english who teach me every meal new words. I am so thankful for the lord and his comfort when every i am feeling down or wondering what am i doing i remember my favorite scripture dc 68 6 where for be of good chear and do not fear for i the lord is with you and will stand by you, where for bear record of me that i am the son of god that i am that i was and am yet to come. this is not word for word but it is nice to know that i was called on this mission that the lord wants me to learn spanish even if i have had no backround on it that he knows i can handle being the only sisters with a bunch of boys he knows i can and he will help me sooo i will! oh and im starting to grow close to the elders in my group but it was funny the first couple of days where we all where kinda acward cuz im a girl and they have to be good but on sunday we had a meeting with just us no teachers and it was nice to just talk and laugh not have to worry about talking spanish!! I have two teachers who are both return missionares and they are very helful and encourageing i cant wait til i know spanish like that and can say what i wanna say! Today i got to go to the temple which was soo amazing the temple is just two minutes away and it was so nice to be out side! and get some sun. so the basic schedule of my day is wake up at 6.30 study and get ready to go out and exercise and i get to play sports with the other sisters then i have to get ready in 45 min then breakfast then class and class and lunch basicaly all day busy but it keeps you going and not thinking of home i love you all so much and i am sending the pictures we took of all of us and pictures we took this morning! im sorry for this kinda random letter its crazy having only a little time and so much to say it kinda comes out random. I have so much more respect for other missionaries who go to other places with crazy laungages to learn spanish is kinda easy im having a hard time writing some words cuz i have spanish vowels in my head. i do love it here at this mtc i know i will learn alot and my spanish will get alot better cuz it is all around me! I love you all and i will figure out how to write actual letters and send them.

love \
Hermania BOully!!
